The laundry industry is often viewed as the most destructive to the environment. We consume a large portion of water, both domestic and commercially, and much of that water ends up as waste. We also require huge amounts of electricity, just to make sure we have clean clothes. Many laundries are making considerable strides towards using solar panels and reusable water from Jojo tanks in order to do their part towards helping the environment. I found this great article on University students doing their part in innovation in the laundry industry.
